SORRY SEEMS TO BE THE HARDEST WORD

Tiger Woods will be breaking his 70 day silence tomorrow. Will he apologize? Will he beg the forgiveness of golf fans everywhere, the way he begged the forgiveness of his club-wielding wife? Not being a golf fan, I don't really care either way. But I know millions of people will be tuning in tomorrow, including Tiger's biggest fan:

He owes me nothing, and I'd really rather not hear any more about his private life. (Or maybe I should say his non-golfing life.) I don't support infidelity but I just can't see how it's any of my business, or anyone else's beyond his family.

Haha! "Club-wielding wife." That made an image of Neanderthals spring to mind!

And for the record, I support non-monogamy, but not infidelity. I have one post about that on my blog, and one about Tiger. The latter is about the 5th amendment.

Naomi,
I don't really care either, but for some reason those stupid Hitler videos amuse the hell out of me. Before I started seeing those, I thought only Mel Brooks could make der Führer funny.

Carmen,
I think Tiger was operating according to the "it's easier to beg forgiveness than to ask permission" paradigm. Sadly for Tiger, he overlooked the fact that the efficacy of this philosophy is dependent on the forgiveness of the person in question. And the weapons available to her when she learns of his transgressions. This miscalculation resulted in what gamers call "Epic fail."
