I saw this story in the hometown birdcage liner last week: An unlikely spot to catch a wave. It's about a guy who surfs on the Mohawk River in upstate NY. Check out the video--kinda cool. I'd heard of surfing on the Great Lakes, but never on a river. As the saying goes, where there's a will, there's a way.
